The Ontario Science Centre is built down the side of a wooded ravine close to the Don River and Flemington Park. The Science Centre consists of three main buildings connected by bridges and escalators following the natural curves of the Don River ravine. The Ontario Science Museum is famous for its hands on approach to science, and the majority of exhibits at the Science centre are interactive as well as live demonstrations are shown throughout the day. It is perfect for weddings, galas, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, conferences or cocktail receptions.
The Ontario Science Centre is a “one-of-a-kind” location, and can be rented individually or as an exclusive building wide rental and is available after hours only, accommodating up to 5,000 guests.
The Great Hall features wall to ceiling two storey windows and skylights as well as a grand staircase as well as access to the KRG terrace, boasting spectacular views of the Don Valley parklands. The hall features the Cloud which is a stunning work of art by world renowned artist David Rokeby. The hall can accommodate up to 1200 guests for a cocktail reception or 600 for a seated dinner.
The Hot Zone can be rented alone or with the Great Hall. It is the perfect place for pre-dinner cocktails and post-dinner dancing. The Hot Zone also has access to the KRG Terrace. The room can accommodate up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception or 200 for a seated dinner.
The Telus Conference room has stunning floor to ceiling windows letting an abundance of natural light in. The room is equipped for corporate meetings and is also ideal for a wedding ceremonies or receptions. It features a vaulted ceiling and skylights and can accommodate up to 320 guests for a cocktail reception or 150 for a seated dinner.
The Novopharm entrance lobby can be used for any event, such as a reception, and is perfect when rented with the Omnimax theatre as a pre or post screening event space. It can be used also to welcome guests for a larger event when renting one of the other spaces available. The lobby can accommodate up to 1,200 guests for a cocktail reception.
The Gemini Rooms have large windows that overlook the ravine and has an adjacent outdoor tented patio. The room can be split into two smaller spaces and includes an audio system, video conferencing and teleconferencing capabilities. The room as one can accommodate up to 200 guests for a cocktail reception or 120 for a seated dinner.
