Corporate Catering FAQ
1. What is included in your catering service?
Anything you may need! From delicious food to décor, and even themed events and customizable menus. We are a full-service caterer and take care of everything needed to make your life easier.
2. What is the difference between full-service and drop-off catering?
Full-service catering includes the whole service: the food, the setup of the food, décor, rental equipment, and staff if needed. Whereas a drop-off catering service means the drivers go to the provided address and drop the food off for the client to take care of the setup and everything else. The great thing is that we offer both options!
3. Do you include cutlery and serving disposables?
Due to the City of Toronto regulations, we do not include them by default, but we can provide them upon request. We offer disposable plates, cutlery, napkins, and serving utensils.
4. How far in advance should I book the catering for my meeting?
The sooner, the better! For any special requests, at least one week before the meeting is held gives us enough time to get the proper ingredients and perfect the recipe for you and your team. If it is an item from our corporate brochure, the latest you can book it is two days before!
5. Is there a minimum order for catering?
There is no minimum quantity for the items in our brochure, unless stated otherwise. However, for special requests, we might have a minimum, which will be mentioned to you when the order is being placed.
6. Can I customize a catering menu?
Absolutely! We love creating different types of food and are more than happy to put together a menu that meets your needs and expectations. Whether you’re looking for a menu inspired by different cultures or have a special dish in mind, we’re always open to creating something unique for your meeting.
7. How is the food served and presented?
Our food is served on ceramic platters or wooden boards for the reception food. Those plates and boards are picked up the following day after the meeting between 12 to 4 PM unless we have discussed a different time. We can also provide them on disposable platters upon request; this may incur an additional charge.
8. Do you provide breakfast catering for early morning meetings?
Absolutely! We can provide breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and everything in between!
9. How early can catering be delivered?
As early as you need us to! However, for orders before 6 AM and after 6 PM, an extra charge will apply.
10. What types of corporate events can you accommodate?
Any and all! From meetings to conventions, coffee breaks to celebrations, en Ville’s got it!
11. Which dietary restrictions can you accommodate?
We can accommodate all dietary restrictions.
12. Can I change my guest count after booking?

13. Can I change the menu after booking?
Yes, changes can be made to the menu. However, all changes have to be made by 1 PM the day before, since our production lists close by then.
14. What is your cancellation policy?
Orders can be cancelled at any point before the event. However, if the order is cancelled after 1 PM the day before the event, a cancellation fee will be applied.
15. Do you deliver throughout the GTA?

11. How do you present the food?
The food is served in ceramic platters, unless requested otherwise.
12. How far in advance should I book the venue and catering for a wedding?
It depends on your vision! If you have a particular season or a specific venue in mind, the sooner you start planning, the better, especially for summer weddings, which tend to be the busiest time of year! Venue availability can vary quite a bit, and some may have wait lists of one or two years. Once you have your wedding date and venue confirmed, we recommend booking your catering as soon as possible to secure your date and give us plenty of time to plan all the delicious details!
13. How far in advance should I book catering for another type of private event?
Just like with weddings, the sooner you secure your date, the better! We also recommend keeping the season and day of the week in mind, since some dates tend to be busier than others (summer weekends, for example!). For bigger events with hundreds of guests, we recommend reaching out a few months in advance to check our availability.
14. How do you make sure that the food provided is the best option for your clients?
Whenever we have an event, especially a wedding, we like to first meet and talk with our clients to understand their history, preferences, and favourite memories. We have a consultation where we go into depth about their ideas and our recommendations to create a menu that is personal to them and memorable for their guests.
15. Why choose en Ville?
With over 40 years of experience, we pride ourselves on not having a set menu for private events. Instead, we take the time to get to know our clients and customize each menu, so the food becomes part of the experience and reflects the story they want to share.
