Canada’s National Ballet School provides a number of venues which can suit a variety of events and functions, in the heart of downtown Toronto, a perfect venue for Corporate and Social events.
The Celia Franca Centre
he Celia Franca Centre is an award-winning, state-of-the-art dance training facility at Canada’s National Ballet School. The three storey atrium at the heart of the Celia Franca Centre is called Mona Campbell Square.
The superb integration of heritage buildings and contemporary architecture can be enjoyed inside and out. The atrium opens on to a courtyard, providing a seamless transition of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Currie Hall
Built in 1911 as a Quaker Meeting House, Currie Hall was the original site of Canada’s National Ballet School. Now used as the dining hall for students in the Professional Ballet Program, it is steeped in history and tradition, providing a gracious and refined atmosphere. A small central courtyard is available when weather permits.
The Betty Oliphant Theatre
The Betty Oliphant Theatre is located in a former red-brick century home. It is a training and performance venue for Canada’s National Ballet School and an important venue for small and mid-sized dance and theatre companies. It has a large stage, the same size as the Four Season’s Centre stage, with a sprung dance floor, 260 retractable seats, and orchestra pit and excellent sound and light systems.
